Thursday, October 19

1:00-4:00 p.m.- Luncheon Meeting of the National Advisory Board and Board of Directors, Hotel Santa Fe, Canyon Room. [By invitation only]
12:00-4:30 p.m. - Registration, Hotel Santa Fe, Kiva Foyer
5:00 p.m. - Buses Depart Hotel Santa Fe for FASA Welcome Reception
5:15-7:15 p.m. - Welcome Reception at home of Richard & Joan Chodosh, collectors of Northwest Indian art and artifacts, 62 Hollyhock Circle

Ticket, including Bus & Reception............................$50

Dinner on your own. Restaurant list will be provided.


Friday, October 20

7:30-8:15 a.m. - Late Registration, Hotel Santa Fe, Kiva Foyer
8:30 a.m. - Buses leave Hotel Santa Fe for House & Studio Tours
8:45-11:00 a.m. - (1) Visit home of Joan Vernick, 540 E. Alameda St., and (2)Visit home & studio of artist & collector Arthur Lopez, 1212 Don Diego Ave.
(Two small buses go to each house, then switch for second house.)
11:15-12:15 - Visit home of Betty-Carol Sellen & Marti Burt, 127 E. Lupida Road – All 4 buses here.
12:30-1:30 p.m. - Luncheon at Pranzo Italian Grill, 540 Montezuma Avenue
2:00-5:00 p.m. - (1)Visit home of Bruce & Mary Anne Larsen, 3229 Calle Celestial, and (2)Visit Home of JoAnn & Bob Balzer, 3918 Old Santa Fe Trail.
(Two small buses go to each house, then switch for second house.)
5:30-7:00 p.m. - Reception and tour of SITE Santa Fe, 1606 Paseo de Peralta.
After reception, walk back to hotel (Two blocks – No bus.)

9:00-12:00 - Symposium at Museum of Indian Art and Culture, Kathryn O'Keeffe Theater, 710 Camino Lejo

9:00-9:30 a.m. - Folk Art Society Annual Meeting and Awards
9:30-10:00 a.m. - Speaker: Jeff Snell, CEO, International Folk Art Alliance, Santa Fe: “Th Future of the International Folk Art Alliance.”
10:00-10:30 a.m. - Speaker: Felicia Katz-Harris: MOIFA Curator of Asian & Oceanic Folk Art, “Concepts behind the exhibition Sacred Realm: Blessings Across Asia.”
10:30-10:45 a.m. - Break
10:45-12:30 p.m. - Visit Museum of International Folk Art (MOIFA) with Laura Addison, Curator of European & American Folk Art, “No Idle Hands: The Myths and Meanings of Tramp Art.” View other exhibitions at MOIFA on you own.
12:30-1:30 p.m. - Luncheon at Museum Hill Cafe
1:30 – Buses return to Hotel Santa Fe.

2:00-6:00 p.m. - Free time to visit Canyon Road Galleries, Rainbow Man Folk Art Gallery or Santa Fe Museums.
Hotel Santa Fe operates a free shuttle to some local attractions.
6:00-6:30 p.m. - Cocktail Reception at Hotel Santa Fe, Kiva Room
6:30-10:00 p.m. - Dinner with Silent & Live Auction, Hotel Santa Fe, Kiva Room

Sunday October 22

8:30 a.m. - Buses depart Hotel Santa Fe for High Road to Taos Trip.
9:00-9:45 a.m. - Visit Cleo Romero, tinsmith artist, in Nambe'
10:15-11:15 a.m. - Visit Oviedo Gallery (Marco Oviedo, sculptor), and Centinela Traditional Arts, (local weavers), Chimayo
11:30-12:30 p.m. - Luncheon at Rancho de Chimayo
1:00-1:45 p.m. - Visit artist Sabinita Lopez Ortiz’s Home in Cordova
2:00-2:45 p.m. - Visit Montez Gallery, 132 Co. Rd, 75, Truchas, housed in an old church, bultos, retablos, antiques, folk art, contemporary art
2:45-3:45 p.m. - Travel to Rancho de Taos
3:45-4:45 p.m. - Visit Home of Rick Finney & Jerry Walter, artists & collectors, Rancho de Taos
4:45-6:30 p.m. - Buses return to Hotel Santa Fe.
